A perception survey by CAG that reveals the experiences of people living in the vicinity of Thoothukudi's industries with respect to the environmental degradation from air, water and soil pollution; and the subsequent harmful consequences on human health. The study also analyses residents' perceptions of the changes brought upon their lives by industrial development.
This curriculum, a part of a series of educational materials developed by CAG, covers best practices a thermal power plant should follow for protecting the local environment.
